Fletcher Building has created an additional Senior Legal Counsel role in its centrally led legal team. Reporting to the General Counsel - Construction, you will enjoy being part of a collegial and high performing team. Variety is guaranteed, as you will provide legal advice and support on construction contracts, tenders and construction disputes for all businesses within the Construction business, most likely focussing on the Infrastructure Division. This role may also provide support to other business units who contract on the basis of construction contracts. There is also scope for this role to develop into other areas, such as health and safety, procurement and general contracting.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have:
- Minimum of 8 years’ PQE
- Senior level front-end construction law experience is essential
- This role requires experience with construction contracts and tender documents, and perhaps some experience dealing with construction disputes.
- Experience acting for a large Contractor on Infrastructure/Engineering projects would be helpful.
- Top tier law firm experience is preferred.
