The opportunity for a talented junior litigator at this internationally ranked and multi-award-winning practice does not come knocking every day.  Their awards however don’t define them: their people do.  This firm supports their people to grow and develop within their role and to be the best they can be.  Be assured that you will be dealing with interesting and complex matters while working closely with one of the partners who is equally known for his experience as for being "extremely approachable".

The leading Litigation team works extensively in the resolution of residential and commercial disputes, acting for both companies and individuals.  They are experts in providing strategic, commercial and pragmatic advice.  They litigate in all major Courts and Tribunals, but are also effective negotiators in alternative dispute resolutions.  They have been recognised internationally as having ‘some of the most experienced and highly regarded practitioners in the country’ - 2017 Asia Pacific Legal 500.

Initially you will be involved in earthquake and insurance related matters, but ultimately be exposed to a wide range of civil litigation including alternative dispute resolution and construction.  High quality legal services to clients must be ranked on top of your priority list.  Ideally you would have an analytical brain and strong research skills.  You should be someone who enjoys the technical aspects of the work and be able to interpret it to clients.  Some commercial civil litigation experience would be beneficial. You will have at least 1 year’s litigation experience and a strong academic record with a willingness to be tutored by the best.
