The type of work undertaken includes; foreign direct investment, establishment of Joint Ventures and Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises, mergers and acquisitions, insurance, distribution, including for fashion/branded products, licensing of Intellectual Property Rights, litigation, arbitration and general contentious matters.

Key responsibilities:

  • Working independently and as part of a team on a range of corporate/commercial matters.

  • Acting for local and international corporations, including numerous high end brands.

  • Drafting and reviewing transaction documents.

  • Providing sophisticated and practical risk-appropriate advice.

  • Liaising with clients, correspondents and other third parties as appropriate.

  • Liaising with our Chongqing Representative Office as appropriate.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years PQE.

  • Good experience in all aspects of corporate/commercial work.

  • Able to take responsibility for corporate transactions from start to finish.

  • Solid drafting and communication skills.

  • Strong communication skills.
